First of all thank you for your interest in MELANIE KNOTT PHOTOGRAPHY! My name is Melanie. I was born and raised in New Mexico and spend most of my early years in the Jemez mountains. I am lucky enough to be married for ten years to the sweetest most supportive man who not only believes in me but also supports me in all my dreams and endeavors. When I’m not shooting, you can usually find me with my 3 crazy wild girls and one sweet baby boy who is the biggest mammas boy. I began my photography journey shortly after my first daughter was born in 2011 and I absolutely love what I do! My photography is more about the experience than just the click of the camera. I want each client to walk away with a smile on their face and to carry that smile with them every time they look back on these special images.I have a passion for photography, people, and life’s precious moments. There is nothing quite like capturing the beauty and uniqueness of each person I come in contact with. My desire is for each client to see beauty in themselves through photographs and to have moments to look back on for years to come.  I pride myself on ensuring your photo shoot will be fun-filled, delightful experience. I endevour to make you and your family feel comfortable enough to express yourselves naturally, leaving me to capture you at your best.
